1. 18 October 2023 – “Speaking with the Stars”: As we await the Orionid meteor showers, check out the waxing crescent moon close to the bright red star Antares in the constellation of Scorpius the Scorpion. The subtle illumination on the unlit side of the moon is earthshine. Its glow is light reflected from the Earth enabling us to see the dark side of the moon.

   Hazel, this proves that you only want to keep things the way that they are by drawing down the veil of ceremonialism. You again confirm the Copernican model of astronomy, when we have been showing in dynamic and descriptive fashion how the Michael festival is a moving festival. As well, it has been proven that there is no “dark side of the moon”, but only the Eighth Sphere. Earthshine is definite proof that a new light Aura began to shine outward from the darkened Earth when the Mystery of Golgotha occurred two thousand years ago.

   Please never forget that the Perseid, Draconid, and Orionid meteor showers from August to October every year is a testimonial to Michael, Who Wields the Sword of Meteoric Iron.

   Ceremonialism in the form of American Misraism is totally over with. Steiner would never want this because it is a tunnel to the past. I really thought we were headed to the future, and a new paradigm suited for us all in the anticipation of the Etheric Christ experience.

      Why would you think I would or could ever forget the connection of the Meteor showers with Michael…?

      I should think you would know that I would never be satisfied with mere ceremonialism. My work has always been about renewal.

      For me this is an extension of the whole 1010 impulse – working on the inner planes to effect change.
      This is the only way to meet what the future is calling for…
      Otherwise we are just sitting around regurgitating GA #’s while the world burns…
      We must take action by putting Spiritual Science into practice…not arguing about opinions that do not speak to experience…

2. Hazel, Good to hear about your changes. When a concerned friend asked me why I did not get vaccinated I said it was not a mental choice, I simply read the sign posts along the way. So it is good to hear about your journey in this regard. As was mentioned somewhere, without a rich inner life all the external show means nothing; with a rich inner life it means everything!

   Timing is everything in the present manifestations of the Etheric Christ, and so I notice that just 3 days after the eclipse, you begin the “Blossoming of the Culmination” which I realized 3 months ago will occur on this coming New Year’s Day of 2024.

   I recently read Steve Usher’s essay on the Culmination from 2011.

   I can agree with him that it happened without fanfare in the year 2000. However, I now realize that was the “sprouting” of the Culmination.

   What’s coming up in less than 3 months is the “Blossoming of the Culmination!” And you already know of its Rosicrucian essence.

   The Christmas Conference birth on January 1, 1924 has to wait that Rosicrucian duration of 100 years before it manifests in a public way for all humanity to see it.

   2. I like this metaphor of the Garden. It shows that it’s a cyclical process that ebbs & flows.
      There is not meant to be just one ‘Culmination’…! Just like there is not just One Harvest.

      There are still many initiatives that have not been properly cultivated – Like actually consciously working transparently with karmic relationships – or the idea of the ‘Streams’.

      That is why the Misraim Service is so needed right now. We have to do group workings on the inner planes if we are to have a real breakthru which will turn the tide to the good to bring our true human evolution back into alignment with the lofty goals of the progressive powers working with us since Christ’s Deed on Golgotha. Yes, Timing – it’s the Future Now!

   3. I ran across this from an Esoteric lesson Steiner gave called The ebb & flow of Macrocosmic & Microcosmic Energy reprinted on page 389 of CW 265:
      “When a new stage of development has been created, a certain culmination for it is also fixed, which is a continuation of the previous one, for even there an upbuilding process is continuly at work up to a ceratin pooint. What was not achieved under the then prevailing conditions & remainded behind, must be worked out further under quite new conditions. If this were not the case every stage of development woild then stand apart by itself &, when it had passed, would bring no incentive for what was to follow. Now howerver, through what remains behind, the seed has been laid for what occurs at one stage of devolpoment to lead over into the next.”

6. You go, girl! Now I understand why my nickname for you has always been “Witch Hazel,” not HAG. You ride a jet-powered broom! And now you are ready to land and start stirring the cognitive cauldron.

   But wait, there’s more! I invoke the real estate mantram: Location! Location! Location!

   42 years ago, I heard this from either Carl Stegmann or René Querido or both.

   “Someone asked Dr. Steiner where in America would be the best place to ground anthroposophy. Without hesitation, Dr. Steiner replied: ‘Chicago!'”

   I recall René at RSC drawing on the blackboard a quick outline of the map of the USA. In the mid-west region encompassing Detroit and Chicago, he drew a full circle representing the Sun forces. Then he outlined a Moon crescent below which received the Sun forces from above.

   This crescent outlined the 3 places I lived in the USA during that fateful year for me and Steve both: 1980.

   I started in New York City. (3-fold Farm in Spring Valley is only 20 miles from NYC)
   In the summer I lived in Austin, Texas.
   In the fall, I entered Rudolf Steiner College in Sacramento, CA for Waldorf Teacher Training.

   Connect those 3 dots on the map and you get a very nice crescent moon.

   René would then say that the Sun forces of the Grail require a vessel to receive them and that is the Grail Cup in the form of the crescent moon.

   Now I invite Brian Gray to contribute his thoughts and remembrances of this manifestation of American Geosophy.

      Yes, Steiner said it is the way the light is here in Chicago – a powerful etheric force coming off the great lakes…But some how the adversarial forces have dug deep into the social sphere here…so, maybe Detroit…Bart Eddy is really doing a great job working with the youth there.

      Yes Dear Brian Grey has come here & spoken about the chalice of the Heartland. Austin is considered part of the Central Region, but it’s a whole other vibe…And of course Spring Valley is its own world…And I missed those hay days in Sacramento…
      But it’s a small world after all, right…& we must be cosmopolitan…

   1. Thanks O – I am only interested in working with Steiner’s Misraim Service, not Freemasonry. Your links are great resources. I really Appreciate this. I am going to Europe next year & can follow up with these people.

      Lodges working this path have sprang up across Germany and Europe. The first lodges were inaugurated in Berlin, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich, and Stuttgart. In 1988 an Order called “Ordo Merlini & Rosae Crucis” (Merlinorden) was established with lodges in Stockholm and Ödeshög Sweden. In 1992 the Merlinorden was chartered by a German group called “Melchizedek Bund” to work the Misraimriten IX° of Rudolf Steiner. In 2003 they received a charter from the Sovereign Sanctuary of the Antient and Primitive Rite of Memphis-Misraim, as well as the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. Another charter was received the same year from a Sao Paulo group, the Rite Ancien et Primitif de Memphis et Misraim.

      In August of 2022, the Swedish Misraim Association granted a charter to form the first Grand Lodge in America called Mysteria Mystica Americana.

      In early 2023 the Swedish Misraim Association formed the International Misraim Alliance (IMA) in an effort to organize it’s growing presence across the globe.

      1. We should also remember Richard Cloud’s essay from 2017 on Steiner’s perceived “Master”. I kept thinking about the name, Richard Cloud, and where I had heard it before. He has apparently drifted from the Pansopher’s site to the newly established MMA here in America. I remember taking part in this debunking of any relationship between Steiner and Alois Mailander. So, Hazel, please watch out.

   It looks like you’re shifting focus again, and I have always held high regard for your efforts. I came into your life, c. 2019, when you were shifting out of your last phase, which was more along the lines of what you now want to re-engage. Thus, for the present time frame of five years, it has all been Anthroposophy, based on the Michael-Christ connection.

   You wrote:

It is said that Ita Wegman encouraged this refounding, as an agent of the ‘Being Anthroposophia’, to whom she remained affiliated until her own death in 1943.

   The genesis of the “Being of Anthroposophy”, or ‘Anthroposophia’, goes back to when Rudolf Steiner was a little boy and had a completely occult experience at the age of eight while sitting in the Pottschach railway station. As the story goes, his aunt, who he had only met when he was a baby, walked into the station, and came over him and exhorted in grand gestures, “Please try and help me now and later as much as you can.” You see, she had just committed suicide, and had come to the boy directly in her etheric body. The boy was shaken to the core, and felt the need to make inquiries for the first time in his life, and this is how the outer-external world opened up to him. She was his mother’s middle sister, but the really important fact was that she was the reincarnated Dante, who Steiner revealed once in August 1912, ref. GA 138, lecture 2.

   So, Hazel, with all due respect, Anthroposophia is well on her feet when we consider the most remarkable circumstances that brought her into being. I have had occasion to bring this story up from time to time over the last five years.

   1. I am grateful that we have been exchanging thoughts thru these years. Yes, & this ‘phase’ is a continuation & fulfilment of my core mission in this life. I had tried to bring the Reverse Ritual to the ASA where it was well received by the participants but was scorned & undermined by those who would keep Anthroposophia laying down. And so now it is my hope that my working with the Sophia-Michael-Christ path has finally allowed me to find expression where freedom & Love are actually practiced in community.

      The germ of Anthroposophia was the ‘cosmic being’ incorporated into the individuality of Marie Steiner von Sivers for a time. At the Christmas Conference Anthroposophia was able to be in the world at large with the joining of the ‘Movement’ with the Anthroposophical Society. This ‘Movement’ consists of the progressive Spiritual Beings working for the Christic evolution of humanity. Ita Wegman played an important roll in asking the Question when Steiner had a break thru in Wales about refounding the Ancient Mysteries…

When Steiner was in Arnhem Holland, and gave a Karma lecture, he expresses that the most important initiative coming out of the CC of 1923 was that the anthro movement and Society had now become one and inseparable. The GAS was to be the protective kernel of the movement. The Executive Council and School of Spiritual Science had been configured for this success, and an entirely esoteric institution was created that was meant to continue even beyond his death.

         Yet, we also know that Marie put the skids to that continuation immediately after her husband’s death. Her vision became one of maintaining the legacy only, and the present-day GAS upholds this decision.

         2. The Vorstand fell apart because they couldn’t hold up against the adversarial powers of the Nazi’s who played their unresolved karma against each other.

            100 years later we are not meant to let a board hold this responsibility – now each one of us as individuals must protect the movement, by Awakening to Community
            & by each of us cultivating a moral yardstick that allows us to co-create directly with the Spiritual Beings behind Anthroposophy

            Marie’s actions feels like a red flag pointing to her life as Theophrastus – whose task it was to preserve the writings of his teacher Aristotle – which he failed to do…

            It seems to me that her stanch position after Steiner’s death stems from this past life experience for which she was overcompensating as Marie Steiner…

            1. Of course, we disagree on this about Theophrastus. Aristotle’s successor, who investigated the whole field of botany and plant science, as well as identifying some 30 moral character types, which would serve him well as the icon of German literature in the 18th century, felt obligated to disperse Aristotle’s legacy into the hands of one disciple, Neleus of Scepsis, who took the works out of the Lyceum into the family home.

               Scholars have speculated for years as to why Theophrastus would have done this after succeeding Aristotle for 35 years. Yet, the clear answer can only be that by leaving these works within the Lyceum, which stood just outside Athens in a grotto near the Temple of the Sun God Apollo of Lyceus, Strato of Lampsacus, who succeeded Theophrastus, would have let these works, which were studies of the animal and plant kingdoms, influence him too much, when the focus needed to shift to the mineral kingdom, physical space, and the forming of a horizontal perspective. This became the work of Strato, and done without the hindrance of these works that remained with Neleus until being purchased many years later by Appellicon, the book collector, who then divided these works between the interests of Rome, the Egyptian princes, and the Academy in Athens, until Justinian closed the Academy of Plato in AD 529. These works were especially prized when they were found later in the forming of the Academy of Gondishapur because they were Aristotle’s own direct teaching of his inner esoteric school. The Arabian night’s legends are filled with Aristotle, such as Aladdin and the Magic Lamp. Thus, Aristotle was fundamental to the empowerment of Gondishapur.

               Steiner’s lectures on “Three Streams of Human Evolution”, GA 184 tells more of how the potential for a premature Consciousness Soul could have happened, and nearly did with this higher knowledge from Aristotle.

9. I would remind you, Hazel, that Rudolf Steiner felt compelled to make very clear this ceremonial order of OTO, which was conferred in 1906. In his autobiography, he explains it as follows.

   “A certain institution which arose within the Anthroposophical Society in such a way that there was never any thought of the public in connection with it does not really belong to the chapters of this exposition. Only it has to be described for the reason that attacks made upon me have been based upon material derived from this.

   Some years after the beginning of the activity in the Theosophical Society, Marie von Sievers and I were entrusted by certain persons with the leadership of a society similar to others which have been maintained in preservation of the ancient symbolism and cultural ceremonies that embody the “ancient wisdom.” I never thought in the remotest degree of working in the spirit of such a society. Everything anthroposophic should and must spring from its own sources of knowledge and truth. There should not be the slightest deviation from this standard. But I had always felt a respect for what was historically given. In this lives the spirit which evolves in the human process of becoming. And so wherever possible I also favoured the linking of the newly given to the historically existent. I therefore took the diploma of the society referred to, which belonged to the stream represented by Yarker. It had the forms of Free Masonry of the so-called high degrees; but I took nothing else – absolutely nothing – from this society except the merely formal authorization, in historic succession, to direct a symbolic-cultural activity.

   Everything set forth in content in the “ceremonies” which were employed in the institution were without historic dependence upon any tradition whatever. In the formal granting of the diploma only that was fostered which resulted in the symbolizing of anthroposophic knowledge. And our purpose in this matter was to meet the needs of the members. In elaborating the ideas in which the knowledge of spirit is given in a veiled form, the effort is made to arrive at something which speaks directly to perception, to the heart; and such purposes I wished to serve. If the invitation from the society in question had not come to me, I should have undertaken the direction of a symbolic-cultural activity without any historic connection.”

   The rest of the chapter is a continuation of something that once had a certain relevance, but then World War I began, and a different direction was forced upon the world. Rudolf Steiner invoked Michael, the Time Spirit of the Age, and the third phase in the development of the Anthroposophical Movement began.

   1. Although the Steiner Misraim Rite has a masonic structure, the rituals and work are of a purely Rosicrucian nature. Steiner did not use any rituals from Reuss. He wrote his own rituals and interpretations for the grades.

      In an effort to distinguish and distance his work from freemasonry, Steiner called his rite the Misraim Dienst (Misraim Service). During a Mystica Aeterna class he said, “For the world at large, our occult stream has until now borne the name of Freemasonry, because from an occult standpoint one should always – if possible – link onto what exists. But as regards our temple this name will from now on fall away, and our arrangements will be called ‘Misraim Dienst.’ …The term Freemasonry should now finally disappear, and as far as the outer world and all arrangements on a Freemasonic basis are concerned, Freemasonry is thus not present in our movement.”

I have always sensed much of a spiritual biography in Rudolf Steiner’s lectures on “The Temple Legend”, wherein Freemasonry, Manicheaism, and Rosicrucianism are intertwined in such a way that could be likened to a recasting and updating of the Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz for our modern times.

         2. Part of my calling includes working with these artistic renderings which hold deep esoteric truths. I have written many of my own Mystery Drama pageants, but these 2 classics in particular need to be more widely entered into. As well as Novalis’ novel, Heinrich von Ofterdingen’s Kingsohr’s Fairy Tale. Not long ago we did a Holy Week working of the Chemical Wedding which was superb. I have been wanting to make a pageant of the Temple Legend forever…So much there, the karmic background of the characters alone is worth examination & explains so much… Thank you for living into this with me.
