Dear friends – What a powerful session in Night School – permeated with the energies of the eclipse of the Buddha Moon.
I was standing in a vast crater with a group of people dressed in white eurythmy gowns. My friend Johanna, who crossed the Threshold on Whitsun, looking full & vital, was there leading us in the Halleluiah. A strange kind of Light-Being was there singing; & what the tone conveyed to me was the feeling of levity. I knew that since we were in the spiritual world we couldn’t be affected by the lunar eclipse which brings the forces of the dragon into the sub-consciousness of earthly humans. And yet the song was also reminding us that when the solar eclipse comes in June – that will be the time to protect the dead – since the unbridled astral baggage from human & adversarial forces working on earth escapes into the cosmic realms. Those of us in the circle were to learn the song, in order to sing it from earth during the solar eclipse, so that the sound vibration can act as shield deflecting that contagion from those newly in the spiritual realm.
I woke up from the dream at the midpoint of the eclipse of the Buddha Moon around 4:30 am with the thought that the Wesak Festival – the high point of the spiritual year – when Buddha’s forces of enlightenment flow from the higher worlds into the mind of humanity – extends until the next Full Moon in June, therefore these energies will be there helping with the solar eclipse energy that will occur on June 10th at New Moon.
Wesak, which marks the birth, enlightenment & death of Gautama Buddha, is a living event. At the exact moment of the Taurus-Scorpio Full Moon, the Buddha is said to return to earth. We can create an imagination of the Christ standing before the Buddha receiving the wisdom of peace on behalf of all humanity – radiating out this blessing thru-out the earthly realms.
The Buddha known as ‘The great Revealer’, brings a calm clarity of thinking that helps us see the reality of our Oneness. Using dispassion & discernment helps to sweep away all that hinders recognition of this truth. Before we can truly see, we have to free ourselves from the many forms of illusion & desire that veils our sight.
A new world is now being conceived – & when the Bulls eye of the soul is opened, the seed of light which was planted on Holy Saturday starts to radiate from the Earth herself. The month of Wesak is a blessing that plays a crucial role in the generation of that light, thru us…

I admit to not knowing that Kaspar Hauser appeared in Nuremberg in 1828 on this very date, but it seems very important. He was just sixteen years old, and I suspect that over the next five years he learned a thing or two. He seems to have known what it meant to go to Anspach when he was just twenty-one years old in order to be fatally wounded. His return to Nuremberg was in 1833, wherein he would die from his wound. I have often seen the death of Vincent van Gogh as a replication of this kind of death. Vincent was born in 1853 and died in 1890, at the age of 37. His suffering can be experienced as a human incarnation; the “all too human human”. Kaspar, on the other hand, was an angelic incarnation, who lived and died in order to prepare for the 2nd Mystery of Golgotha in the etheric world, which began 33 years after his death in 1833. Thus, 1866 to 1872, and wherein Biela’s Comet was disintegrated as the effect.
The good news is that with the destruction of Biela’s Comet in 1872, the world stood to have a chance for success right up to 1933, and this moment is what Steiner had indicated in 1924; “the beast will rise in 1933 with the descent of the anti-christ”. So, it was already forewarned some six years after the first world war.
We can take it or leave it, and if we leave it, it means what is happening today. In other words, spiritual science is the gist and the giggle. If that makes sense, then we have a future. For Wesak, it is really important to consider these matters.
Yes, all these threads are meant to be taken up & woven into a tapestry of understanding & a prescription for action – a dynamic, connective thinking, sparked by enthusiasm which moves from the center to the periphery – to activate the will – the ripples setting waves into motion which flow between us – making new patterns in the world…
