How the Queenship of Mary is connected to her Assumption:
Tradition celebrates two main feasts of Mary in August. The first is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary on August 15, & the second is the Feast of the Queenship of Mary on August 22.
The feast of the Assumption has been celebrated since the 5th or 6th century & for many years its festival was extended by an octave.
Our ancestors celebrated all major feasts for eight days = for an octave. Essentially the same liturgy was said, using the same liturgical texts each day of the octave.
The eighth day of the octave was seen as a heightened experience, honoring the spiritual themes of the feast for the last time. For this reason a complimentary feast was often instituted on this eighth day.
When it came to the Assumption, it had an octave celebration for many centuries. Then on May 4, 1944, Pope Pius XII established the feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary on August 22, the octave day of the feast of the Assumption. He did this so that by her intercession may be obtained “peace among nations, the love of purity and the practice of virtue.”
However, later Pope Paul VI decided to switch the feasts of the Immaculate Heart and the Queenship of Mary. The feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary was joined to the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (celebrated on the Saturday following the feast of the Sacred Heart, typically around the Summer Solstice June 20) and the Queenship of Mary was moved to August 22. Mary becomes the “Queen of Heaven.” The power of the Queenship of Mary is that she is a “Queen of Peace.”
“May all recognize more clearly and venerate more devoutly the merciful and maternal sway of the Mother of God. May this feast help to preserve, strengthen and prolong that peace among nations which daily is almost destroyed by recurring crises. Is she not a rainbow in the clouds reaching towards God, the pledge of a covenant of peace?”
After her Assumption into Heaven, Mary has become our Queen & is right there beside her Son, The Being of Love, listening to our prayers. She is the true “Queen of Peace,” who can help us turn the tide of war & conflict thru her powerful intercession.
May we strive to make our hearts Immaculate to share the Crown of our Queen & become a beacon of Love & peace in our world.

Hi Hazel,
I remember that we discussed this last year at this time. How Pope Pius XII had invoked his papal encyclical on November 1, 1950. This was effectively retroactive to August 15th. The Assumption of the Holy Mother after many centuries of appearances in miraculous form and display. Why do you think he did that, since his explanation here does not describe one supersensible appearance, although the Catholic Church did investigate and verify many of them that we have discussed?
He simply takes the stand of the eastern orthodox church, which had installed Her place in Heaven by the seventh century. We know that the Catholic Church extended this by many more centuries. Was he trying to neatly bring an end to it all in 1950? Make Her a dogma figure, rather than a Living Presence?

Yes, the Church has ceratinly tried to keep the spiritual truths from reaching the people, & yet we a given much grace if we do the work of connecting to sourse for ourselves
The seminal source, for me, is when Christ is looking down from the Cross on Golgotha and sees the three women, with the *disciple He loves*, standing nearby. This is clearly where a directive is given. A new Sonship is enacted herein, and hopefully you will see it.
“But standing by the cross of Jesus were His mother, and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus then saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold, your son!” 27 Then He said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” From that hour the disciple took her into his own household.”

Now, we know that this eventually led to the Book of Revelation, in which John of Patmos in old age received the inspirations, largely coming from the Images of Ephesus, of what the future times held. The Mother was the one who transported John to Ephesus for this ability to write it. He dies, but She as a spiritual being is completely free to be here, there, and everywhere. Thus, the Marian Apparitions begin.
We know that 1531 was an important year in the annals of the Apparitions. This is when Christ had been nudged out of the etheric envelope of the earth into the Astral World, and the Lady of Guadalupe appeared to Juan Diego. The appearances only become more pronounced over time until now.
So, it will always be a mystery of what Pius XII had up his sleeve with what he did on November 1, 1950. Even C.G. Jung wondered why the Pope was giving up a profound Archetype with this declaration in his book on Job, c. 1952.
Pius XII took a Real Being out of account based on his supposed “infallibility”. Has the world become stronger and more free because he did it? Or is it just another memorial date?
Great questions. And of course many connections are there. And to be clear the 2nd Crucifixion did not occur in 1531. Steiner speaks about this in his 2 may 1913 lecture Occult Science and Occult Development, Lecture II – CHRIST AT THE TIME OF THE MYSTERY OF GOLGOTHA AND CHRIST IN THE TWENTIETH CENTURY
“…Twice already Christ has been crucified: once physically, in the physical world at the beginning of our era, and a second time spiritually, in the nineteenth century, in the way described above. It could be said that mankind experienced the resurrection of His body in that former time and will experience the resurrection of His consciousness from the twentieth century onwards…” https://wn.rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA152/English/RSP1966/19130502p01.html
I never said that the 2nd Crucifixion took place in 1531, but that it was in the sixteenth century that human souls crossing the threshold after death possessed materialism for the first time. This materialism in human souls is what caused Christ to have to vacate the etheric world for the astral world. Thus, this begins the process that would eventually require the reenactment of the Mystery of Golgotha in the Etheric, wherein the Angel proxy for Christ suffers the suffocation on the Etheric Cross. The Lady of Guadalupe’s apparition stands in relation to Christ having made this first adjustment, from the etheric to the astral.
