What if…? The universe is made of music & stories, not matter, or atoms.
What song will you sing today to bring the world into existence? What story will you tell?
hmmm…& what if we aren’t consciously creating the universe? What if we are just going along, living in someone else’s narrative? What happens if we habitually expose ourselves to toxic stories? What if a commercial jingle is our earworm?
Friends! We could wind up living in the wrong universe! – A world where we are just human animals; not spiritual beings having a human experience – A world where it’s impossible to become the purposeful genius we are all born to be.
No that’s crazy; we know that’s not true! So let’s wean ourselves off tell-tales that have a reductive plot line, fueled primarily by grotesque, negative scenarios.
More importantly, let’s celebrate the luminous mysteries that have shaped our life story: The meandering fascinations that don’t always lead to tidy conclusions, the wobbly joys that feed our soul, but don’t do a thing to serve the false ego’s ambitions. Let’s live into the adventure whose success revolves around brain-teasing breakthroughs, instead of exhausting confusion, caused by fear & illusion….
So how about it…? Let’s encourage each other to nourish ourselves with delicious, nutritious narratives & the glorious music of the spheres, which inspire us to exercise our willpower for the highest good of all.

14 October 2020 – “Speaking with the Stars”: Today holds amazing solar system sights for both morning & evening observers. For those up before the Sun, you can spot the delicate crescent Moon joining with the planet Venus (occult Mercury) in the morning sky. Look East in the two hours before sunrise to glimpse the pair in the southern portion of Leo the Lion, southwest of Denebola which marks the tip of Leo’s tail. See if you can spot any earthshine on the lunar surface, which occurs when sunlight bounces off Earth & lights up the portion of the Moon in Earth’s shadow.
Lucky — & speedy — evening observers can catch Mercury (occult Venus) low in the western sky at sunset tonight as the Sun sinks below the horizon next to Virgo’s sheaf of wheat: Spica.
As Mercury disappears, look to its north. Higher above the horizon, you’ll see the bright star Arcturus in Boötes pop out in the darkening twilight. This red giant shines brightly than our Sun.

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY
The Intercession of the Theotokos or the Protection of Our Most Holy Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, is a feast of the Mother of God celebrated in the Eastern Orthodox & Byzantine Churches.
The Slavic word Pokrov, like the Greek Skepê has a complex meaning. First of all, it refers to a cloak or shroud, but it also means protection or intercession. It is often translated as Feast of the Intercession.
According to Eastern Orthodox Sacred Tradition, the apparition of Mary the Theotokos occurred during the 10th century at the Blachernae church in Constantinople (modern-day Istanbul) where several of her relics (her robe, veil, & part of her belt) were kept. St. Andrew the Blessed Fool-for-Christ, who was a Slav by birth, saw the dome of the church open & the Virgin Mary enter, moving in the air above him, glowing & surrounded by angels & saints. She knelt & prayed with tears for all faithful Christians in the world. The Virgin Mary asked Her Son, Jesus Christ, to accept the prayers of all the people entreating Him & looking for Her protection. Once Her prayer was completed, She walked to the altar & continued to pray. Afterwards, She spread Her veil over all the people in the church as a protection.
St Andrew turned to his disciple, St. Epiphanius, who was standing near him, &asked, “Do you see, brother, the Holy Theotokos, praying for all the world?” Epiphanius answered, “Yes, Holy Father, I see it and am amazed!”
According to the Primary Chronicle of St. Nestor, the inhabitants of Constantinople called upon the intercession of the Mother of God to protect them from an attack by a large Rus’ army. The feast celebrates the destruction of this fleet.

I loved listening to this conference on Anthroposophia and the New Isis. I think I was working up to it without knowing it was coming. Yet, my intuition was telling me it was coming. In Summer, I was reading again the lectures, “Egyptian Myths and Mysteries” from 1908, and wanting to revisit the original relationship between Osiris and Isis. Here is a graphic of what came out of that relationship. Please notice the Pisces cross-over of the two crescents at bottom. This is the Jesus element.

Hazel, you cited a lecture which was given on the day of Epiphany, 6 January 1918. It gives a very good reprise of what Steiner had said in 1908, and goes on to indicate how much the Mystery of Golgotha, which concerns the sacrifice of Christ, also serves to renew the significance of Osiris. Even the title of the lecture, “How to Bring Osiris Back to Life Again”, is indicative. Yet, you leave Osiris entirely out of account, as if the new birth of Isis is a kind of immaculate conception. Why do you leave Osiris out of account here, when Steiner clearly wants to reintroduce Osiris into the evolutionary progression since Christ?
I am also keen on Angela’s reference concerning Martha’s conversation with Christ about her sister Mary. It is from the Gospel of Luke, chapter 10, and goes:
Martha and Mary
38 Now as they were traveling along, He entered a village; and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. 39 She had a sister called Mary, who was seated at the Lord’s feet, listening to His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with all her preparations; and she came up to Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to do all the serving alone? Then tell her to help me.” 41 But the Lord answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; 42 but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.”
So, if we can consider ourselves to be the new group soul of the anthroposophical movement, with Anthroposophia walking amongst us as a living being; an actual person, which Rudolf Steiner emphasizes in his descriptions from GA 258, then I think the same goes for us. It will not be taken away from us because it is a good thing, with lasting value.
As you know, I see the actual person in the above characterization as a very significant human incarnation, worthy of an esoteric lecture to the “brother and sisters”, which is how Steiner greeted his most intimate participants. Somebody pointed out recently how there were three groups in Rudolf Steiner’s entourage; the public group, which he addressed as “Ladies and Gentlemen”; the private group, which he addressed as “Dear Friends”, and those few who heard his most keenly esoteric lectures; the brothers and sisters.
Yet, today we live in modern times; maybe even post-modern, which I think more than implies technology, which is of the sub-earthly. So, it is dicey. But, the internet exists to bring people together in an international communications network. I have used it consistently now for some 25 years. It could exist only out of the moral-ether, and Christ is behind that, working steadfastly for earth evolution and mankind. Oops; humankind. You get it.
Thank you for taking in our workshop with such a keen eye. as you can see we only had a short time & I couldn’t bring in the Osiris element in the way needed in the time allotted. Perhaps this can be shared in another workshop. I can not open the attachment you sent with your graphic.
I’ll find it somewhere in another file. It shows the 14 + 14 phases of the Moon and the two fixed points, full and new, with the thin crescents and the crossover swoop! I said, “this is Osiris and Isis in picture form”. Their secret is that they formed the Intellectual Soul, comprised of the peripheral nervous system and its sympathetic and parasympathetic divisions. Developed in the third cultural epoch, it began to be applied in the fourth, with the Greek thinkers.
And now in the consciousness soul age it is the Christ/Michael/Isis image we must cultivate

I am so glad and appreciative that you are offering your workshop on “Sophia Working”, from October 10th. I will be able to watch it with great attention. I admire so much how you work through these technical difficulties with the zoom presentations. Enflaming Enthusiasm from September 29th was awesome.
One other item of note is your consideration of waning crescent moon and earthshine. “New moon in the arms of the old moon”. When waxing crescent moon begins two days later, it will be “old moon in the arms of the new moon”. Earthshine is again the visible symbol. Now, this is because the Earth exudes a light aura outward since an important event took place. Prior to this event, the Earth was a darkening sphere, and doomed to extinction, even with the best of intentions by Jehova’s working from the outside in.
As such, the sign of Pisces presents itself every month as the sign of evolution; descent and ascent. It even shows the crossover, which is birth. Jesus represents the sign of Pisces, and his cousin, John, the sign of Aquarius. The great turning-point of time.
Now, today, two thousand years later, what do we have working in this dismal world? 400 volumes of spiritual science, that’s what! Rudolf Steiner said in the 13th lecture of GA177, that Michael’s victory in the War in Heaven, which was accomplished in 1879, would assure that Spiritual Science came to Earth at the outset of the 20th century.
Yet, now 120 years later, the human race suffers. Why? Because it has been given a task to redeem this world, and it resists out of lower impulses. The Group Soul you mention is the arc of the new covenant, which sees this moral responsibility today. Your Chicago group, and ASA in general, must see itself as the initiates of the Consciousness Soul age, much in the same way as the initiates of the previous Intellectual Soul age saw themselves. The Greek philosophers, and their Roman/Arabic equivalents.
O I love that image of the ‘old moon in the arms of the new moon’.
