“Momma!” the black man calls out

HERE IS THE RECORDING of Vitae Sophia~ A Whitsun Festival of United Soul Endeavor with Hazel Archer-Ginsberg, with Guest Speakers Lisa Dalton & Geoff Norris

Online Whitsunday, 31 May 2020 Sponsored by the Anthroposophical Society in New Hampshire

Our individual strength is enhanced by weaving our gifts together, kindling our social world in conscious community.

The dove descending breaks the air
With flame of incandescent terror
Of which the tongues declare
The one discharge from sin and error.
The only hope, or else despair
Lies in the choice of pyre or pyre-
To be redeemed from fire by fire.
Who then devised the torment? Love.
Love is the unfamiliar Name
Behind the hands that wove
The intolerable shirt of flame
Which human power cannot remove.
We only live, only suspire
Consumed by either fire or fire
.”
~T.S. Eliot, Four Quartets

George Floyd, a 46 year old black man, is handcuffed on his stomach as a Minneapolis police officer presses his knee into his neck. Floyd lies immobilized, groaning on the pavement as cars rush by, police radios beep & bystanders gather, yelling that his nose is bleeding, entreating the officers. “Hey, let him breathe, man!”

“Please, man!” Floyd begs as he is ground into the pavement. His cries mix with the ambient noises around him. They are the disjointed sounds from the clash of belief systems & competing visions of sovereignty, of ownership, of authority over black bodies compressed into the narrow frame of Floyd’s last moments.

“Momma!” the black man calls out. “Momma! I’m through,” the dying man says.

A call to your mother is a special prayer, a sacred invocation. George Floyd’s mother died two years ago, but he called her now, in his darkest hour of need.

“He is a human being!” comes an anguished plea from someone in a desperate attempt to engage the officers’ reason, or compassion, or oath of office. But in that moment, those officers are beyond the reach of their own humanity.

I didn’t want to click on the video. I didn’t want to see another police snuff film. I didn’t want to watch whatever it is that compels someone to put his knee into a man’s neck, until he can no longer draw breath. But I heard this black man had called out to his momma as he lay dying – A prayer since time immemorial, a sacred call. And we are asked to bear witness.

Dying soldiers called out for their mothers, according to Civil War battlefield reports. Last year, an article from The Atlantic cited a hospice nurse. “Almost everyone is calling for ‘Mommy’ or ‘Mama’ with the last breath.”

The Mother is the anchor – A way for those who are close to the edge to find their way back, or to find their way home.

As bystanders scream at Minneapolis officers, “He’s dying. You’re f—ing killing him,” Floyd is no longer moving, he is perhaps already dead.

To call out to his mother is to be seen by his creator – The one who gave him life.

Will we see him?

31 May 2020 – WHITSUNDAY

visitation

The Feast of the Visitation’ – The visible actors (see Luke 1:39-45) are Mary & Elizabeth, 2 MOTHERS TO BE, although Jesus & John the Baptist steal the scene. John leaps with joy in the womb of Elizabeth, who in turn, is filled with the Holy Spirit & addresses words of praise to Mary—words that echo down through the ages. Then comes the Magnificat (Luke 1:46-55).

One of the invocations in Mary’s litany is “Ark of the Covenant.” Like the Ark of the Covenant of old, Mary brings God’s presence into the lives of other people. As David danced before the Ark, John the Baptist leaps for joy. As the Ark helped to unite the 12 tribes of Israel by being placed in David’s capital, so Mary has the power to unite all in her Son.

Friday 19 June 2020 – Front Range Anthroposophical Café presents:

The New Mysteries of St. Johns-Tide with Hazel Archer-Ginsberg

To pass the test of Summer we will explore many questions:

  • How do we stand wakefully within the sublime mysteries of the Summer-Tide, to consciously embody ‘the spiritual wisdom of the gods’?
  • Who is the mysterious Archangel of Summer?
  • Who is John the Baptist? What do his sayings “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” And “He must increase, but I must decrease.” really mean?
  • What is the secret to healing the ‘soul-fever’ so prevalent in society today?
  • What is the mystery of the Dragon-fly, & other elemental beings?
  • How can we understand the ‘Cycle of the Year as Breathing Process of the Earth’?

Together we will work to strengthen our true “I”, enlivening our will forces.

We look forward to seeing you on Friday 19 June 2020 shortly before 7 PM (Mountain time.) Here is the link to our Anthroposophical Café and all you need to do to join us is click on it: https://zoom.us/j/294724669.

Shavuot Stir

Last night with the Quarter Moon lighting our way, folks gathered for a Merry Prep-Stir. It was the start of the Jewish festival Shavuot, & all were in a celebratory mood of gratitude & reverence. I began with a few antidotes & a dedication, & then everyone stepped forward one by one to add a pinch of BD 500 to the stirring bucket – uniting individual prayers with the collective intention of spiritualizing & healing all life. And then the stirring began! And we sang “Spirit to matter, matter to spirit…” Such joy as the vortex was spun & the thrill of the chaos was welcomed in the leminscate between rhythm & commotion.

As the stars came out, Bella Luna rose higher in the southwest, below the belly of Leo’s stick-figure lion pattern, forming a nearly equilateral triangle with Leo’s Regulus & Gamma Leonis (Algieba). We saw Mercury, & Capella, but Venus was already low in the West behind the tree line, on her way to the underworld for a time before she rises again as the evening star…

The young folks played music, cello, guitars, bass, hand drums & shakers, singing galore! – Adding the power of sound vibration to the forces entering the stir. The garden was lush from lots of rain & the bonfire was blazing, warming & highlighting the power of all the elementals.

As the evening wore on I spoke about Shavuot, called by various names: Feast of Weeks, Feast of The First Fruits & Feast of the Giving of the Law.

It celebrates the spring harvest. In olden times as each fruit ripend, the first of each type would not be eaten, but instead the farmer would tie a ribbon around the branch. This ribbon signified that these fruits were Bikkurim, or the first fruits.

At Shavuot the farmers would gather the Bikkurim into baskets & bring them to the city where they would be shared with the wider community. This joyful occasion was celebrated with the music of fifes, timbres, & drums.

To commemorate, for the 3 nights during Shavuot, folks light candles, decorate with greenery, eat dairy food, study Torah, attend prayer services, & read the Book of Ruth. (I will tell this amazing story of Ruth & Naomi tomorrow as part of my Whitsun festival)

Along with being a Harvest holiday & celebrating the spiritual journey of Ruth, Shavuot celebrates the Revelation of Torah.

Many of the traditions & customs of Shavuot have evolved from the legends & stories describing the experiences of Moses at Mount Sinai. According to tradition the people actually overslept on the morning when Moses returned from the mountain. To compensate for this, folks hold an all-night vigil on the eve of Shavuot. They stay awake from dusk to dawn, singing to the spirits of nature.

It was getting late, so we took a break from the music & everyone grabbed a jar of the potentized prep & aspurged the neighborhood. Our friend next door, who was having his 1st experience as a Merry Prep-stir, told all that he could tell that his garden was changed thru our previous sprayings. What a delight to see our Merry band fliting about on the city streets with our buckets & jars spreading droplets of magic on the lawns, gardens & parkways.

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is Merry-Prep-29-may-2020-Linda.jpg

The young folks made good on the all-night vigil. And this morning there is a perceivable presence in the air surrounding our property. The bees are happy, the bird song responding with thanks & praise.

~Vitae Sophia~ A Whitsun Festival of United Soul Endeavor with Hazel Archer-Ginsberg

Online Whitsunday, 31 May 2020 from 10 am–11:15 am EDT Zoom Call*

Through leading thoughts and conversation we are called to redeem the ether spheres to create an Ecclesia, a chalice for The Sophia. Then the spirit flame can spread out to become what Steiner called a “World Whitsun”, which began in earnest at the Christmas Conference. The Whitsun Festival highlights one of the greatest challenges of being human: placing our individual gifts, in right relationship within the social realm. This challenge is especially strong now during this ‘pandemic’. Our groups striving to know Spiritual Science must work together as a community, to have the possibility to create a new culture where a sacrament is possible in every encounter. Our individual strength is enhanced by weaving our gifts together, kindling our social world in conscious community.

Rudolf Steiner’s Lectures on this day

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY

I turn to history not for lessons but to confront my experience with the experience of others and to win for myself a sense of responsibility for the state of the human conscience. ~ Zbigniew Herbert  (Poet) 1924 – 1998

1431 – Deathday of Joan of Arc, French martyr & saint, burnt at the stake by the British under Duke of Bedford.

Burned at the stake as a heretic after a politically-motivated trial, Joan was beatified in 1909 and canonized in 1920. Born of a fairly well-to-do peasant couple in Domremy-Greux (southeast of Paris), Joan was only 12 when she experienced a vision and heard voices that she later identified as St. Michael the Archangel, Catherine of Alexandria, and Margaret of Antioch. During the Hundred Years War, she led French troops against the English and recaptured the cities of Orléans and Troyes. This enabled Charles VII to be crowned as king in Reims in 1429. Captured near Compiegne the following year, she was sold to the English and placed on trial for heresy and witchcraft. Professors at the University of Paris supported Bishop Pierre Cauchon of Beauvis, the judge at her trial; Cardinal Henry Beaufort of Winchester, England, participated in the questioning of Joan in prison. In the end, she was condemned for wearing men’s clothes. The English resented France’s military success–to which Joan contributed.
On this day in 1431, she was burned at the stake in Rouen, and her ashes were scattered in the Seine River. A second Church trial 25 years later nullified the earlier verdict, which was reached under political pressure. Remembered by most people for her military exploits, Joan had a great love for the sacraments, which strengthened her compassion toward the poor. Popular devotion to her increased greatly in 19th-century France and later among French soldiers during World War I. Theologian George Tavard writes that her life “offers a perfect example of the conjunction of contemplation and action” because her spiritual insight is that there should be a “unity of heaven and earth.” Joan of Arc has been the subject of many books, plays, operas, and movies. “Joan of Arc is like a shooting star across the landscape of French and English history, amid the stories of the Church’s saints and into our consciousness. Women identify with her; men admire her courage. She challenges us in fundamental ways. Despite the fact that more than 500 years have passed since she lived, her issues of mysticism, calling, identity, trust and betrayal, conflict and focus are our issues still.” (Joan of Arc: God’s Warrior, by Barbara Beckwith)

1593 – Deathday of Christopher Marlowe, English poet & playwright

Paul-Delaroche

1672 – Birthday of Peter the Great Czar of Russia.  He led a cultural revolution that replaced some of the traditionalist & medieval political systems with ones that were modern, scientific, based on The Enlightenment.

1778 – Deathday of Voltaire, French philosopher & author. Rudolf Steiner speaks of him as being a former pupil of the mysteries in Karmic Relationships Vol. 2.

1935 – Deathday of Daniel Nicol Dunlop , a Scottish entrepreneur, founder of the World Power Conference & other associations, a theosophist-turned-anthroposophist. Thought to have been a Templar in a former life. Dunlop saw Rudolf Steiner for the first time when he was still General Secretary of the German Section of the Theosophical Society, both of them expressed their intimate spiritual connection &respect for one another.  Dunlop started the anthroposophical “Human Freedom Group & anthroposophical Summer Schools. In 1928 he organized the first & only World Conference on Anthroposophy & in 1929 he was elected General Secretary of the Anthroposophical Society in Great Britain. He had a deep friendship with Eleanor Merry, who supported his work, especially after the death of his own wife, Eleanor in 1932. As a result of conflicts & power struggles within the General Anthroposophical Society, leading to its splintering in April 1935, Dunlop was expelled together with a number of other leading members. He died shortly afterwards of an appendicitis. Dunlop enlisted the help of fellow anthroposophist Walter Johannes Stein in the hope of founding a World Economic Organization, but his death prevented this.

1936 – Ludwig Polzer-Hoditz resigns from the General Anthroposophical Society on the 1 year anniversary of his friend D.N. Dunlop’s death, in protest after many of his contemporizes were expelled from the Society.

Preparing for the Baptism by Fire

ANGEL OF SELF-HEALING — ARCHANGEL RAPHAEL - MysticalTalk - Medium

When we attune ourselves to beings such as Raphael, Archangel of spring, we can awaken to the way spiritual entities constantly interact with earth thru the elements.

FOLLOWING THE SUN. PIONEERING ART IN THE DECORATION OF PUBLIC ...
Edvard Munch

The messengers of cosmic warmth in the rays of the sun activate the ascension of the element of water. Through its union with air, clouds originate. In the cloud, between depths of earth & heavenly heights, in the sphere of the etheric realm, a mobile balance manifests.

Blossoms & fruits are in reality not just products of earth but heavenly forms filled with earthly substance, like us.

The phantom body of Christ is a reconstituted New Adam, & the Resurrection Body points us in the direction of our future evolution, not back to the garden, but going forward toward the New Jerusalem. Materializing & dematerializing at will.

The ‘ Resurrection Body’ encompasses the whole of humanity – Rudolf Steiner calls it a redeeming of the  group-soul of mankind. It is like a cell that is multiplying; growing ever more evident in the etheric realm.

The expression “Put on the resurrection body” used by the apostle Paul is a true picture of what can happen for us. An imaginative picture of this is secreted in the allegory of the Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz .

Goethe’s Fairy Tale is another powerful imagination that captures the essence of the Ascension.

It’s been said that The Green Snake & the Beautiful Lily which is full of esoteric symbolism, was born out of Goethe’s reading of The Chymical Wedding .

Goethe’s Tale was written as a response to a work by Friedrich Schiller called ‘Letters on the Aesthetic Education of Man’.  Über die aesthetische Erziehung des Menschen

One of the central ideas discussed so often by by Goethe & Schiller centered on the question of human freedom. Schiller was trying to build an inner bridge between reality & the ‘ideal human being’.

Schiller wrote his ‘Letters’ during the time of the French Revolution, which was driven by a desire for outer social changes, to enable human beings to become free.

But both Schiller and Goethe recognized that freedom cannot be ‘imposed’ from the outside, it must arise from within. So Goethe took this inspiration & set about writing a Fairy Tale that would show, in imaginative pictures, the way in which a human soul could become whole & free by bridging the abyss between the human & the divine within.

For 40 days Christ lived in the concentrated form of the Phantom & resurrection body, which was perceptible, to the apostles. The Concentration then changed into expansion, conveying to the universe the mystery of death, & the secret of death into life.  So Now, at the Ascension, the wisdom of the resurrection that had been brought forth in the depths, was made known in the heights, & the expansion fulfills the cycles of time.

Matter is spirit burst into visibility. The crucifixion was an undoing of this process.

The phantom or resurrection body of Christ is no longer purely human comprised as we are of the Imagination of the Spirits of Form, the Inspiration of the Spirits of Wisdom, with an aura by the Spirits of Will. It is the body of a reconstituted new Adam pointing us in a new direction of our future evolution, not back to the garden, but going forward toward the New Jerusalem. Materializing & dematerializing at will.

This ‘body’ encompasses the whole of humanity – Rudolf Steiner calls it the group-soul of mankind. It is like a cell that is multiplying. The expression “put on the resurrection body” used by the apostle Paul is a true picture of what can happen for us. This is really what is meant by the Chymical Wedding.

May we all called to the marriage feast as we prepare to receive the baptism by fire from the Holy Spirit

Cloud gazing in the days between Ascension & Whitsun

When the apostles experienced the Ascension, which was for them not merely the proof of the whole immeasurable significance of the Christ impulse for the life of every human soul after death, but was at the same time, the event thru which they were able to attain the fullest most all-encompassing knowledge of the new relationship between microcosm & macrocosm.

The Trinity in art - Wikipedia
Hendrick van Balen

Because of the Ascension the human soul can come into contact with the cosmic sphere where Christ derived the forces for His Resurrection Body. The sphere of the Father, where the Atma, or future Spirit Human, is derived.

David Newbatt

And now, since in the resurrection, Christ has united the forces of the cosmic midnight hour directly with earth evolution, this created a bridge for all human beings over the cosmic abyss, unlocking the gate between the cosmic midnight hour & the midday moment of cosmic existence.

Dolore CeVelde

The Ascension provided the opportunity for The Holy Spirit, who illuminates individual ego-consciousness, to be able to appear in earthly evolution among human beings at Whitsun, to pour into them the true knowledge of the Mystery of Golgotha & the Ascension in full wisdom.

Liane Collot d’Herbois

The outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost is a direct consequence of the Resurrection & the Ascension.

The events of Easter, Ascension & Whitsun form the foundation of the only moveable feasts in the cycle of the year, which succeed one another in accordance with a strictly cosmic law, having to do with the alignment of Sun, Full Moon & Earth after the Spring Equinox.

Ninette Sombart

At the Baptism the Christ Being united with the physical body of Jesus of Nazareth & therefore was united with earthly evolution as a whole.

Alexandr Ivanov

At the Transfiguration Christ permeates the etheric body of Jesus. In the scene of the transfiguration, Christ reveals his higher sun nature –to the 3 chosen disciples – A visionary manifestation of the fully transformed etheric body, which radiates light like a Sun.

Ascension relates to the Transfiguration & Whitsun to the Baptism. We see in the Ascension the metamorphosis of the scene of the Transfiguration; -& in Whitsun, the transformation of the Baptism by John in the Jordan. And the Annunciation relates to Whitsun as we shall soon see.

In the Ascension Christ showed the connection to the spiritual Sun forces, which became manifest in the Transfiguration, with the etheric bodies of all human beings.

When Christ entered into Jesus at the Baptism, His Sun-Being took over the ego of Jesus. –After the resurrection the Christ impulse can live within mankind without taking over the ego-consciousness. But in order for this to happen Christ had to Ascend.

10 days after the Ascension or 50 days after the Resurrection, Christ sent the Holy Spirit- that Divine Being of the Trinity that does not overpower, but enhances the ego of humankind.

Jim Whalen

Now the Christ impulse can enter human souls thru the mediation of the Holy Spirit, so that we can retain ego-consciousness without being overwhelmed by Christ’s powerful sun nature. The benevolent Sun, that gives life generating warmth to all existence, is a bridge, connecting the macrocosm with the microcosm.

28 May 2017 – “Speaking with the Stars”: Bella Luna waxes ever brighter as she wends her way eastward past the Regulus today & tomorrow, dancing over to Spica on June 1st.

If you want to catch a last glimpse of Venus before she vanishes from the evening sky, find a location with a flat western horizon & look that way right after sunset. The dazzling planet is now racing between Earth & Sun as she passes us on her inner orbit. The end of May brings her too close to the Sun to observe, &she slips into the morning sky after solar conjunction on June 3rd.

The fleet planet Mercury is still quite visible in the west after sunset, but he is beginning to fade in brightness.

Jupiter & Saturn greet those up at midnight. They are very easy to spot just east of the “teapot” asterism of Sagittarius, & they will remain close together in the sky for the remainder of the summer & fall.

Ruddy Mars continues to plod eastward through the faint stars of Aquarius, & should be easy to spot if you’re up well before dawn. He is gradually brightening as Earth catches up to him, & there is nothing even remotely as bright or red-tinted in this part of the sky. He will continue to brighten until opposition in early October, when he will outshine mighty Jupiter!

“We understand only the very smallest part of human history and of our own life if we consider it in its external aspect, I mean in that aspect which we see from the limited view-point of our earthly life between birth and death. It is impossible to comprehend the inner motives of history and life unless we turn our gaze to that spiritual background which underlies the outer, physical happenings”. ~Rudolf Steiner, Karmic Relationships, Volume IV: Lecture III

8 pm – 9 pm – CDT – We look forward to seeing you on Friday 19 June 2020 shortly before 7 pm (Mountain time.) Here is the link to our Anthroposophical Café and all you need to do to join us is click on it: https://zoom.us/j/294724669.

Warmly, Karen vann Vuuren, Tom Altgelt, Jamie York, and our growing circle of Café Friends – It’s better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.

Comet Connection

Tony Stein | Halley's Comet appears once about every 75 years, and ...

Comet Swan Happening NOW: Rudolf Steiner tells us that comets are governed by the Cherubim & the Seraphim, sent into our solar system on a “god-willed mission.” Their task is to purify the astral realm, & to bring a positive impulse into human evolution. “The comet will encounter the Earth just at the time when great possibilities in spiritual life as well as great darkness will lie open to humanity!”

“Something of an elemental nature, something that stirs up, and, in a certain condition, is necessary in order to rightly maintain the progress of evolution in the cosmos — that is the nature of the comets” (Rudolf Steiner, March 5, 1910).

Rudolf Steiner points out that the nucleus of the comet is quite different from the tail. The nucleus attracts & collects harmful, astral substance, which densifies around the nucleus as it progresses further into our physical universe, taking on material form, this is what we see, but it is working even when we can’t see it; then it carries this harmful astral substance out of our planetary system. This astral substance is transformed by the comet, & what streams out from the tail is completely changed as a result.

The Angel With The Second Trumpet. A Vision Of The Apocalypse ...
Howard David Johnson

The word Apocalypse means Revelation.  Comets bring a Revelation, a new impulse of growth. This can incite fear & foreboding. Anything new & unknown is often resisted, sometimes with terrible force & violence. The old is clung to, spiritual progress & evolution, are fiercely opposed especially by the adversarial beings seeking an enslaved world order, not the one that progresses humanity towards their spiritual goals.

Rudolf Steiner tells us in ‘The Spiritual Beings in the Heavenly Bodies and in the Kingdoms of Nature’ – 10 lectures given in Helsinki, 3–14 April, 1912, that the appearance of comets creates “…fine organs that are suited to the progressive evolution of the ego…” And the comet signifies that the ego “…acquires new physical and etheric organs for this progressed ego to make use of…”

So what does the Swan Comet signify? Is it enabling the development of specific “fine organs” that will lead to the natural clairvoyance – the new thinking needed in our time to move forward in evolution out of the materialistic age?

Art and lockdown: your drawings in the time of coronavirus ...
Donna Finer

And what kind of opposition might we expect from this? What forms will it take in humanity in the activity of the opposing spiritual beings? Does the coronavirus pandemic have any relation to these comets? Is the pandemic a medical question only, or is it an initiation question with some biological component as a catalyst? There is an interesting parallel between what modern science says about comets & about viruses, which is worth further research & consideration. Looking at the question of the “purpose” of corona virus, we need to consider a deeper spiritual relationship. If behind all material processes, there is consciousness at work, is this pandemic an earthly shadow, or mirror of this comet activity (as above, so below)? Is the death & fear it brings, in a larger scheme, a veil hiding a new mission on the Earth?

January 2020 Astrological Forecast - Brace Yourself! — Our Sight ...

These cosmic events include the rare meeting of Saturn, Jupiter, & Pluto, with several planetary configurations around that triad, & the approaching Great Conjunction at Winter Solstice 2020, which carries the theme of a ‘new annunciation’. Could it be that with his great light we are seeing a great shadow, & that opposition will arise ever more strongly to preserve the past, to hold back evolution towards its goals?

This Great Conjunction enters the stars of Capricorn. It will remain in Capricorn for its next three cycles after 2020 (3 x 60 years), meaning that this Great Conjunction will repeat in Capricorn, carrying the great annunciation theme in this constellation, until 2199, when it is on the boundary into Aquarius, the stars of the new Age.

Capricorn is the constellation of initiation. It is also the constellation that carries the memory, &, therefore, the dynamics of the great War in Heaven.

The battle into the future will be for the creation of the cosmos of love. The planetary events during this time – the current comets, & the pandemic are all stages in a great transition, which Steiner describes in relation to comets, as a “certain condition necessary in order to rightly maintain the progress of evolution in the cosmos,” to lead us into the 6th Cultural Age.

In this sense, every change or transition in earthly life, as in human life, is accompanied by struggle, tribulation, even death in some form… or by catharsis. For what is catharsis but the painful death of the old in us & in the world in order to make way for the new to be born? Catharsis is as old as initiation itself, & a necessary part of it. The old self must die in order for the new higher self to be born. This is the path of spiritual development, the transformation of the lower astral nature into the pure vessel for the birth of The Sophia in us. It is the path of “not I, but Christ in me.” It is the new initiation.

Comet SWAN Expected to Put on a Splendid Show - Sky & Telescope ...

If we look now at the spiritual nature of the constellations, thru which comet Swan passes, it will shed some light on the nature of what it is bringing us. Swan was first noticed near Fomalhaut, which swims under the water poured out by Aquarius. Aquarius is the constellation of our future age, the 6th Cultural Age, when the vernal point will enter this constellation, in which humanity should develop the Spirit Self. Aquarius pours out the cosmic living water of the divine world, the etheric life.

It then passes into Pisces, the stars of our current age, where our tasks are to develop sister/brotherhood with our earthly world, & our fellow human beings, as well as with the divine world.

Then it moves just into Aries, which is connected to thinking & the ego being, &, to the “reversal” of thinking that no longer descends into the brain, but begins the upward development to the new thinking, or as Willi Sucher calls it, clair-thinking.

It then moves into Perseus, that figure who is a representative of Michael, who slays Medusa, the thinking that turns the human being to stone, & slays Cetus, the sea monster, the old atavistic clairvoyance. Perhaps these mythological creatures are images of Ahriman (stone gaze) & Lucifer (sea monster).

The entire story of Perseus is spread out above the path of Swan in the added constellations of Andromeda & Pegasus, above Aries & Pisces. Andromeda, the human soul, is saved by Perseus, & from Andromeda arises Pegasus, the white winged intelligence, the new thinking. The star in the wing of Pegasus is the same star as in the forehead of Andromeda.

Perihelion Day 2020: Know everything about when the Earth will be ...

As Swan comet reaches its pinnacle, nearest the Sun at perihelion, it moves from Perseus into Auriga, the Sun Charioteer, near the star Capella. Auriga forms the shape of a pentagon in the heavens. It tells the story of the chthonic son of Hephaestus (the lame god), & in other versions the son of Hermes/Mercury, who built & drove the chariot of the Sun.

Auriga (constellation) - Wikiwand

The star Capella in Auriga in Hindu mythology is associated with the heart of Brahma. In Greek mythology, it is associated with the goat that suckled Zeus, as well as the horn of the goat that was transformed into the Cornucopia, the horn of plenty, of abundant life.

The Celestial Charioteer: Helios - Kevin Kihn - Paintings & Prints ...

All of these imaginations are rich in content! So Comet Swan traverses the heavens thru these constellations, which all in some way point to the new faculties, & future of the human being – to our becoming the Sun Charioteer, which can be likened to the development of a ‘Solar Ego’ – the Christ-in-me who drives the Sun Chariot thru the ethers, uniting the earth once again with the Spirit of Sun.

May we take up the reigns with clear sight, an open heart & steady hands.

1 Tree, 4 Seasons, Sun And Moon Painting by 3 Hearts
Sandy Vernc

~I follow the path to the Sun
Moment by moment, season to season
But to travel East is to grieve in darkness.
I find my star radiating from the Earth Heart
Shining in the rainbow clouds
Working in my skin.
And so I reflect with the Moon, cycle by cycle
Toting fertile moisture in the mix
My skeleton filling with the resurrection
Knowing
I shall not fall to forgetfulness.
