Greetings friends on this Eve of the New Moon – I am striving, like you, thru Spiritual Science, in the continual digestion of past, present & future world events, to not only uncover the supersensible reality behind the various physically manifested phenomenon – naming the forces working in what we see out-pictured in our collective reality – but also to ask questions?
And one of the main questions many of us are asking is: How can we affect positive change?
We know that as individuals we are tasked with consistently practicing the inner development work described in Rudolf Steiner’s basic book: ‘How to Know Higher Worlds’. This first step is a life-long process, not a theory – but a conscious Initiatory practice… – Then with a firm moral foundation that allows us to build new spiritual organs, we are meant to join our gifts together to build the Temple of the New Mysteries – A Michaelic Oasis/Fortress that enables us to counteract the adversarial forces thru our collective endeavor – which involves rising in our thinking to meet the spiritual beings who are willing to work as our allies for the highest evolution of humanity.
Here on RR we have brought forth the intention to co-create change thru what I call: Project Thought-Seed (Egregore 10:10 )
Do you feel as I do that we must become spiritual warriors? We cannot realistically hope to affect change by physical means alone. The 3-fold Social Organism is in deep dis-ease. The Economic & Political realms are thoroughly corrupt, so in re-awakening the moral civil center of the Spiritual/Educational/Cultural realm in freedom, we can endeavor to take up the practice of building up affirmative imaginations on the inner planes as a counterforce to the adversarial powers working in the world.
This kind of willed-visualization becomes a “key-call” to the Spiritual Powers aligned with love & light, to enlist their aid.
Our collective Good Will can form a cosmic energy field for healing – planting what Dion Fortune called “Seed ideas in the group mind of humanity” to co-create intentions for our Highest human evolution – that the Earth may become a Sacred Planet – a Sun – & every Human Being a Star. “What is sown in our highest thought will grow and bear seed.” It only takes the square root of any number of people to create true change.
To further explain ‘the working’, we can do together, let’s look at what this positive group energy can be, from a spiritual scientific point of view:
An egregore is a positive group thought-form, & when intentionally created, becomes a kind of ‘entity’ with the power to help & influence.
Whenever we meditate, pray, study a sacred image, or create an inspiring work of science, art, or literature, we radiate into time & space positive thoughts & emotions which benefit the all. Thru concentration exercises we can build Thought-Forms in the astral where we can meet in spirit.
Our goal is to co-create a new ‘Group-Soul United in Christ’ – which has the power to affect the ultimate positive change we want to see in the world.
As a psychic ‘entity’, the egregore exists between the material & spiritual worlds, & is connected to both. It is a living creation of our highest intentions.
We have the power to manifest thought-forms of good will together – to collectively build a cognitive imagination of Michael-Christ-Sophia, protecting & embracing us with love & light.
The forces built up thru our collective egregore fortifies & sustains us. The intentional visualization of the Earth as a Sun, increases thru our efforts over time – becoming more & more realized thru our repeated affirmational actions.

We will be making and burying the chamomile, yarrow and dandelion compost preparations. This offers hands on activity. We will be walking through grass and work in soil. Please dress accordingly and be ready to get dirty.

I love that piece by Herbert Hahn, the “When I think my soul shines, etc. – and then the reciprocal action in the earth. It is perfect for a Meditative Thought-Seed isn’t it. To me the word reciprocate expresses the seeming impossible, rapid, dynamic that living is. It’s a good sister to the mind boggle that reverse ritual is. My mind panics when it tries to comprehend, yet it must. I must understand.
Hi Rod – When I brought the idea for a synchronized Thought-Seed a woman in my study group immediately starting saying the Hahn verse. She only knew it in German. His version has a lot of If’s in it which I took out to make the mantra more powerful. Then we started doing it backwards. Then I figured we needed verses for the other soul forces so I came up with the ones for feeling & willing.
The idea of reciprocation really does make it dynamic, thank you. This adds a fresh dimension that I will employ.
I know what you mean about the panic. But knowing that we are all together in our striving to understand helps…

Reciprocity assures that the Law of Diminishing Returns is nullified in favor of caring all the time. Being mindful of the integrity of this endeavor for truth and knowledge.
In KOHW, this has affected/effected me the most. My guru even underlined it specifically with pink and turquoise highlighters . It is found on page 69 of the 1947 edition. What it has meant to me follows this quote:
“The golden rule of true spiritual science. This golden rule is as follows: For every one step that you take in the pursuit of higher knowledge, take three steps in the perfection of your own character.”

Thus, 3 moral steps for every 1 step in higher knowledge. This is also known as the simultaneous work on Knowledge and Being, which has to be practiced every second of every minute of every hour in a day. It means sweating the details in sweeping the threshing floor every day. Steiner even gave an analogy of it in the “Education of the Child” lecture from 1907:
1) Work on the Etheric Body is related to the hour hand of the clock.
2) Work on the Astral Body is related to the minute hand of the clock.
3) Work on the Ego is related to the second hand of the clock.
4) Work on the Physical Body is related to the clock itself, and its 24 hours; an homage to the 24 Elders of Saturn (7), Sun (7), Moon (7), and Earth (3).
Suffice to say that the Moral World Order is what makes our freedom, and it comes from God. Nature necessity has no future when the Maya is revealed for what it is.
The Holy of Holies is found everyday when we first stir to awakening. We must thank God for everyday, and for our life. It is like when we were little children, and dutifully recited:

I pray the Lord my soul to keep
If I should die before I wake
I pray the Lord my soul to take.
I remember waking up every morning and saying, “Thank you God for my life”.

I remember that you did this presentation not too long ago, after the Santa Fe conference? Faust Branch. Is that the one in Sacramento? Then, it would be in 2022, just last year!
We have so much in common that it amazes me, Hazel. I am reminded, for example, that Fichte extended Spinoza’s “Ethics” in order to say that the Moral World Order comes from God, and this is the true source of our ability to be free. Spinoza reincarnated as J.G. Fichte, within the scope of German idealism. Yet, he did not complete his task in fully exposing Christ as the source of the “I Am”. If Spinoza had lived longer, his “Ethics” of Deductive Reasoning would have arrived at the Incarnation, but he died in 1677 at age 45. Likewise, with Fichte, he died before he could declare the Christ. He had written the Critique of All Revelation, which was designed to gain an audience with Kant. Well, he got it and told Kant that the ‘thing in itself’was the Ego. Goethe remembers this and laughed at Fichte. Then, Fichte died in 1814 from the infection of Napoleon. He was just 52. So, a third incarnation was needed, and this came out of the Russian Folk Soul. This was Vladimir Soloviev (1853-1900), who exposed the anti-Christ in 1898, as he was returning to Russia after his second sojourn with the Divine Sophia in the desert outside Cairo, Egypt. He also died young, age 47, and thought to have been poisoned. Yet, he established the Russian Renaissance in the thinking of the New Age, which recognizes the Anti-Christ. Just look at the history of Russia since 1900. Look at the suppression. This is the force that wants to suppress the 6th Cultural Epoch, and it is working right now. 9/11 was seen as the means to tell the world that America rules. Just ten years after the end of the Soviet Union by the false prophet, Gorbachev, the new PNAC arrives. This is the “Project for a New Ahrimanic Century”.
Of course, I am not trying to be negative, but only saying that we need all our cards on the table; all the facts. And the facts show that from 1898 to 1998, which is the last 100 years of Sorath’s second incarnation, America was clearly ruling the world with great precision, and largely because it envisions the Economic Order as the only means of authority. We all walk on our stomachs, which is a metabolic consideration. Yet, if Man Does Not Live By Bread Alone, then this needs to be a further consideration.
Rudolf Steiner began to extend Spiritual Science the very year that both Vladimir Soloviev and Friedrich Nietzsche died; two icons and freedom-fighters in the summer of 1900. They were exemplars of their respective folk souls. Steiner came to know this by following them across the threshold. You see, he had this talent. And, it made a difference in his further pursuit, which went from philosophy to theosophy, although he retained his love for philosophy. It was the importance of “Living Thinking” that propelled him.

What Does Affect Mean?
The verb affect(opens in a new tab) means “to act on; produce a change in” as in, “The cold weather affected the crops.”
(The cold weather produced a change in the crops.)
The verb affect can also mean “to impress the mind or move the feelings of,” as in “The music deeply affected him.” (The music changed his feelings or thoughts).
If you can substitute affect with another verb, you are using the right word:
“The cold weather damaged the crop.” “The music deeply moved him.”
So, when you want to use a word to express a change or to describe an action, choose affect.
What Does Effect Mean?
