TODAY on this Indigenous People’s Day – which also happens to be 10.10 ; I thought to share a little 10:10 Testament from our Thought-Seed Project to bring light in around our continued intention to visualize the human being as a Star & the Earth as a Sun; co-creating an ‘Egregore’ – our collective ‘Thought-Form’ of Good Will – our “key-call” to the powers on the Inner Planes, to enlist their aid – Everyday at 10:10 am / pm, in your time zone, wherever you are.

Our positive egregore grows between the material & spiritual worlds, connected to both, like a rainbow bridge in the etherial realm bringing the pot of gold to those who would look for it.

Folks have been asking for more insights into how to actually do the 10:10 Thought-Seed Experiment. Well friends, there is no right or wrong. It can be as simple as picturing yourself as a being of light; radiating wholeness, sharing truth, activating Will, blending colors, with all the other human souls aligned with love & light, shining together, to permeate the atmosphere with good will – illuminating the whole Earth. Short & sweet, you can do this anywhere, anytime.

If you wish to elaborate, you may want to build an imagination to help you “Think Light”. Sometimes I like to use these Steiner verses as a lead in:
In purest outpoured light
Shimmers the godhead of the World
In purest love toward all that lives
Outpours the godhood of my soul
I rest within the godhead of the world
There shall I find myself
Within the godhead of the world
(Repeat, knowing you are shimmering along with the godhead)

Or this verse:
More radiant than the sun
Purer than the snow
Subtler than the ether
Is the Self
The spirit within my heart
I am that Self
That Self am I

And of course our go-to verse from Waldorf Teacher & Esoteric Circle member Herbert Hahn, is the anchor for the Thought-seed for me every day:

“When I think light, my soul shines,
When my soul shines, the Earth is a Star,
When the Earth is a Star, then I Am, a true human being”.

in reverse:
I am a True Human Being
The Earth is a Star
My Soul Shines
I Think Light.

To extend this concept into the rest of our soul forces of Feeling & Willing, we wrote these verses to mirror Hahn’s idea.

For Feeling:
When I feel warmth, my heart sings
When my heart sings, the Earth resounds
When the Earth resounds, I am a true I AM.

The Earth Resounds
My Heart Sings
I Feel Warmth

For Willing:
When I will life, my hands help
When my hands help, the Earth heals

You might want to picture Mighty Spiritual Beings noticing our shining. Then we become a beacon which calls for a response. Powerful forces reply, by sending their protection & energy to us on Earth. Then we can work with them to collectively surround any disharmony, embracing with compassion all discord, bringing every dis-ease into the light of healing wholeness…

Every day is different; you may want to feel into the sense of what is needed, for yourself, & for the world in that moment.

Lately before saying the verse, I have been setting the stage by creating Thought-pictures using my guardian angel as an energy enhancer. I invoke the angelic presence into my thinking, inviting this being to work with me to purify my astral forces, so that I may be a fit vessel for the light. I say this Steiner verse:
Spirit Triumphant
Flame thru the weakness of my faint-hearted soul
Consume my self-seeking
Burn up my egoism
Enkindle compassion
That selflessness
That living stream in humanity
May flow as a well-spring of Spiritual Re-birth.

I also picture the guardian angels of the all of you out there shining with me.

I can continue to build circles within circles, expanding out from the human, to the angelic; & then I bring in the Archangelic forces, which I picture as Columbia, the Being of America; joining in harmony with all the other Folk Spirits of the various national cultures, going beyond borders, into the universality of our unique humanness.

This then opens the threshold to the Archai, The Time-Spirit who holds the zeitgeist of the Age – Michael, who beckons us to work with him & the Being of Wisdom, The Sophia, to redeem the Cosmic Intelligence.

Of course we could keep going up the ladder of the 9 Angelic realms to build higher circles of light by rising in our thinking – all the way – to meet the godhead in the Trinity.

And then gathering & contracting that energy back down into the Earth, & into ourselves, to empower us in our becoming – the 10th Hierarchy of Freedom & Love – And the Earth – a sacred planet, a Star – the Sun of the New Jerusalem.

How do you do 10:10?

Ever reflecting out to the periphery of eternal becoming.

10.10.22 – “Speaking with the Stars”: Fomalhaut, somtimes called “The Autumn Star”, is by far the brightest star in its constellation Piscis Australis, and is one of the brightest stars in the night sky. The dim constellations of Aquarius and Capricorn are close by. While known as the “Loneliest Star,” you can see that Fomalhaut has two relatively close and bright visitors this year: Jupiter and Saturn!

The Festival of Sukkot

Yep, the harvest season is upon us once again…The Jewish New Year has begun, Sweet with the seal of At-One-ment…& now, the ancient celebration of Sukkot comes, to bring community together for a unique opportunity to experience an amazing blend of Honoring the Ancestors, Giving Thanks, & opening to receive prosperity’s blessings…

“When you sit in the Sukkah, ‘the shade of faithfulness,’ the Shechinah spreads Her wings over you…”

When our daughter was in 3^rd grade we started celebrating Sukkot – In the Waldorf pedagogy this age is all about leaving the garden of paradise, The children live into stories about Moses & the wandering in the desert, & learn to build shelters. Her class was very close, so we had gatherings in our sukkah every year to share food, tell stories, create Autumn art, Invite in the Matriarchs of the Torah, & many other loving ancestors, & perform the ancient ritual of waving the Lulav, for blessings of abundance…

The Festival of Sukkot is quite a drastic transition, from one of the most solemn holidays in our year- Yom Kipper, to one of the most joyous. This festival is sometimes referred to as the ‘Season of our Rejoicing’. Sukkot begins at Sunset tonight when the Full Hunters Moon starts to rise, & lasts for seven days.

The word “Sukkot” means “booths,” & refers to the temporary dwellings that we build to celebrate this holiday. The name of the holiday is frequently translated as “The Feast of Tabernacles,” & Like Passover & Shavu’ot, Sukkot has a dual significance: Historical & Agricultural.

The holiday commemorates the forty-year period during which the Hebrew People were wandering in the desert, living in temporary shelters. Sukkot is also a harvest festival, & is sometimes referred to as the ‘Festival of Ingathering’.

The Gospel of John Chapter 7 gives a powerful account of ‘The Festival of Tabernacles’:

37 On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” 39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

40 On hearing his words, some of the people said, “Surely this man is the Prophet.”

41 Others said, “He is the Messiah.”

This is harvest time, so we decorate the sukkah with the bounty of autumn, dried squash & corn, pumpkin & gourds, all the vegetables that make you think of Halloween & Thanksgiving. Building & decorating a sukkah is a fun, family project, much like decorating the Christmas tree.

Another observance related to Sukkot involves what are known as The Four Species, etrog (a citrus fruit, representing the heart), a palm branch (in Hebrew, lulav, representing the spine of the upright human being), two willow branches (arava, representing our eyes) & three myrtle branches (hadas, representing our lips & tongue). We take these four plants & use them to “rejoice.” The six branches are bound together & referred to collectively as the lulav. The etrog is held separately in the left hand. With these four species in your right hand, one recites a blessing & waves the species in all six directions (east, south, west, north, up & down, symbolizing the fact that the Divine is everywhere).

Ushpizot is an Aramaic word meaning guests. According to Jewish tradition, each night of Sukkot, a different set of guests is invited to rejoice with us in the Sukkah. While the custom of inviting Ushpizin, seven biblical male leaders, has been widely celebrated, there are also medieval sources that suggest inviting the seven female prophetesses: Sarah (Genesis 16,21), Miriam (Exodus 2:1-9; 15:20-21), Deborah (Judges 4-5), Hannah (I Samuel 25), Huldah (II Kings 22:10-20), and Esther (Book of Esther).

Karl König descibes how the spirit-germ of the self is a reflection of the Michael being, which illumined by the Sun of Christ begins to develop and grow in Christ light. “The more conscious this seed is of itself, the more graciously will the Sun of Christ shine upon it. For it is in the growing darkness of autumn and winter that the dawning of His Spirit-Sun begins. The self of man, which has now arisen, has to find it.”
It is the turning point of the Soul Calendar’s year.
The soul’s attention now turns inward, longing to know herself.
In last week’s mirror verse a fiery Michaelic will power expressed itself.

9 October 2022 – “Speaking with the Stars”: The Full Hunters Moon next to Juipter! A full moon is always opposite the sun. So all full moons rise in the east around sunset. And all full moons set in the west around sunrise. But full moons have different characteristics, mostly related to their paths across the sky. And, shortly after they rise, full moons closest to the autumnal equinox follow a path across the Northern Hemisphere sky that makes a narrow angle with respect to the eastern evening horizon. So – in the early autumn you might see a bright moon in the east shortly after sunset for several evenings in a row.

I ran across this teaching by Dr. Steiner the other day from his Esoteric Lessons I, GA 266, # 11, München, 11-6-1906, & thought to share it here.

A=past U=present M=future

“Occult training leads the human being to freedom. The initiate becomes the master of various beings who continually go in and out of their four bodies, by becoming their companion. These beings are: phantoms in the physical body, ghosts in the etheric body, demons in the astral body, and spirits in the ego.

To learn to rule them one must form a firm framework in the etheric body, just as there’s a skeleton in the physical body. This framework for the etheric body is a pentagram with thinking in the head point, feeling in the arms and willing in the legs.

One must also form a framework for the astral body, namely a hexagram with the head and heart points, two ears and two arms.

To arrive at this one must apply the following four principles:

Learn to be Silent and you’ll get Power;
Give up Power and you’ll get Will;
Give up Will and you’ll get Feeling;
Give up Feeling and you’ll get Knowledge.

These are four stages to which the human being can ascend.

Every suppression gives a certain power.

If one knows the spirits and beings who continuously rule and enslave them, they no longer need to be their slave.

The first thing that a pupil must learn and do is pay attention to themselves.”

Then I imagine, the further stages bring us to Wisdom & Love…

And so it is that today – again – I must start at the beginning – & learn to be silent.

8 October 2022 – “Speaking with the Stars”: Mercury (Occult Venus) reached ‘Greatest Western Elongation’ this morning.

The Draconid meteor shower, also sometimes known as the Giacobinids, grace the skies in the month of October they peak on the night between Oct 8–9

The Draconids owe their name to the constellation Draco the Dragon, and are created when the Earth passes through the dust debris left by comet 21P/Giacobini-Zinner. The comet takes about 6.6 years to make a single revolution around the Sun.

Although the Draconids have been responsible for some of the most spectacular meteor showers in recorded history, tonight being the EVE of The Full Hunters Moon, we will not see much.

Clear your mind of what fills it now & live into the Word…Make yourself comfortable, as we open to the light & share the air…taking a deep breath…filling your belly…Thrilling your lungs…Let your body sink deep & Relax, letting the light enter thru your breath…Set the rhythm with your heart-beat…& as your awareness is internalized, fully connected with the Breath of Life, gently moving thru the light into you…make all your senses alert to this life force…Enjoy its power & perfect simplicity…feel the sustaining energy behind every spark of light in every breath…Feel the life force coursing thru your cells & thoughts…& when you are ready – become a vessel, a channel, a chalice – open to the abundant potency pouring into this planet from the Heart of the Sun that we all share…Feel the honey-gold radiance of the Sun infusing your Will with the power to manifest Loving Thoughts, Words & Deeds…Reach out with your Heart-Self, & let your Light-filled thinking attract & connect with the radiant-golden healing energy of our Day Star, as its power merges with your ripening heart…

Observe a ripe golden ear which seems to be reaching out to you…Under its wispy silk, kernels sparkle like precious gold, shining thru the husk…Let it remind you of your own riches, both tangible & intangible…Reach out & pick this ear of corn & put it into your basket…

Leave the corn field, & enter an apple orchard…See the beauty of these trees…these majestic symbols of the Great Goddess Herself…Feel the fullness of her boughs…the ripeness of her ruby red apples, the fruit of knowledge…Reach up, way up, & pick two…Put one in your basket & eat the other…Taste & enjoy this perfect fruit…For in this gracious garden, tasting the fruit of knowledge is never forbidden…

Move now toward an onion field, which beckons to you…Once green, now browning spikes, point up to you, tempting you to dig below…Pull gently & the ground gives birth to an iridescent, opal bulb, full of body & character & strength…A vegetable with the power to make you feel the beauty of your tears of joy…Add this to your growing harvest…

Notice ahead thick bushes of ripened raspberries, Sharp brambles protecting their precious, succulent garnets…The juicy nectar of these berries reminds you of your humanness, your ability to feel, express, & extend all that is sweet & loving & honest to others…Take your time here, & pick plenty of these supple jewels for your basket…

Step away now & look around you…Find a patch of fruits or vegetables that calls to you…Enter it, admire its offerings, select a precious jewel of your own to harvest…Choose a ripened resource that will sustain you in the upcoming time of cold & darkness…glean some warmth & light, & savor its presence…

With your arms now laden, your basket full of bountiful treasures, it is time to rest…Take your harvest to a clover covered knoll – just beyond – in the still warm rays of the Sun, to sit & bask in the glory of its healing warmth…Rest in contentment knowing you have gathered in all that you need, to give you strength & balance, peace & nourishment in the Winter nights to come…

Put yourself back in the sky now – Become the Sun again & yet again…Shine down upon yourself & your hardy harvest…Absorb the energy of the fruits of your labors. Bless the seeds you planted in the Spring, & nurtured to fruition thru the Summer…

Become One with the Spiritual Sun…Shine down upon all that is good & giving…Spread the light of hope & peace, love & understanding, to all you shine upon…Everything you have touched with your luminous rays is vibrating in harmony, in the eternal truth of your authentic self…

Work to integrate & cultivate these blessings received…opening to the vision of your Divine-Self, in the wholeness of your heart-soul…

Dear friends, Know in truth that we can resolve to act on our own unique life-purpose & make it ever more real…ever more whole…Joining our gifts together to make the light ever stronger, ever more healing & whole…

Feeling this reality – gradually bring your experience to the present once again – to the here & now…Feel your body refreshed & renewed – here & now – in your room, in your sacred space…know you are sacred…Know you are here for a reason…

And gently, joyfully, when you are ready, open your cosmic & earthly senses – to see & be the unity of your community…Know in your heart-of-hearts that the journey we have taken together, whether near or far, in the flesh, or thru the net, is full of effulgent effective power which we manifest for ourselves & for our Earth – a healing harvest of love’s light…

Our work done for now, we left the Live Power Farm in Round Valley & made our way thru the mountains to Stockton CA. where Hermes lives. The Sun beat in as we made our way South. All the forces that had propped me up during the conference were gone. I was tired, & hungry – done with driving. We managed to make it to a Chinese restaurant without me imploding, although it was a culture shock after being on the land for so long. With a nice full belly all I wanted to do was fall into bed.

But when we arrived at the artists retreat, & dear Sarah & Tobias greeted us in the lovely entryway, I could hear music rising up. I said ‘Is that a didgeridoo’? I ran down to what I discovered was ‘the music room’ to find 3 friends engaged in a session. All my weariness fell away. I began to dance & tone along with the drums & didge & guitar.

I am always joyfully amazed at how revitalizing playing music is for the body, soul & spirit – such a gift – The perfect homecoming. After a few hours of these healing vibrations, I was renewed & grateful to have connected with these new musical friends. Dr. Tobias Handschin, who grew up in Dornach, not far from the Goetheanum, & who spearheads the Artistic Center, had to leave for Simi Valley, CA, where he was scheduled to work for the next week. The children who are his patients are lucky to have him as their healthcare provider.

That night I kept dreaming of my rings. Most of my bangles are what we might call costume jewelry – but my emerald ring was a birthday present from my beloved CG when I turned the big 6.0. The other – which I refer to as ‘the family jewel’ – is my ruby ring, which he gave me as an engagement ring. The thing about that is, since I was a little girl I had a vision of ‘my perfect ring’ – a marquise cut ruby – my birthstone – nestled between 2 small diamonds, wrapped in band of yellow gold.

Well after knowing each other for a mere 3 months CG asked me to marry him at a crossroads by the lake, presenting me with that very ring! So my vision came true in more ways than one…

When I woke up in that beautiful retreat-center-home all I could see in my mind’s eye was my ring case sitting in the medicine cabinet of the tiny house in Gloria’s pear orchard where we had stayed. Yet I remembered taking it out of there thinking: ‘O I don’t want to forget this’; so I put it with the rest of my jewelry. I looked in the draw-string bag where it should have been. Nope. Stumped, I searched everything twice, 3 x’s, & so did CG, but the rings were nowhere to be found…

I called Gloria, she looked everywhere in the tiny house, twice, 3 x’s. Nope, the ring case was not there. How could this be? I tried to settle down so I could go backward in my memory thinking where it might have gone to. Gloria called back, she had looked again…& found it – in the dusky bookcase made of dark wood, which is where the draw-string bag had been. I must have put it next to the bag not in it, & so it was that the small velvet case just disappeared into the dark cave of the bookcase with one of the land Gnomes for a while.

Relieved that the family jewels were found; now we had to figure out how to get them back. CG didn’t feel comfortable having them sent by mail. There was the thought that perhaps we would return in January when Velsum Voices comes in to Cali. to do an artist’s residency, performing in Stockton & possibly at White Feather Ranch as a tribute & fundraiser for Nancy Poer, but CG felt uneasy with that as well. The only thing as far as he could see was for him to drive back out to Live Power to get them! That seemed unfathomable to me, but he was upbeat & ready to make the drive. This man is a road warrior, loves to drive, making business calls along the way. It’s like his traveling office. He found a faster route, & made sure Hermes could go with me to the lunch date I had in Sacramento that day with a friend. Feeling sad & guilty, I made him breakfast, & packed a lunch. Happy to have a mission, CG hit the road.

Enjoying our many conversations during our time together, Hermes & I set off for the lunch date. I thought it was just going to be Sandra Stoner who lives in Sacramento, but Anne Dale drove in 2 hours from Sebastopol; & Sandra invited a bunch of friends who came in from the Branch in Fair Oaks CA: Gayle Davis, Cheryl Martine, Alice Stamm, Sandra Stoner, Anne Dale, Hermes Work & me…so there were 7 of us.

What a delight to be with these familiar friends, our relationships forged during the many zoom breakout rooms & various online presentations – So strange to think, after so much intimacy shared over this time, that we were actually meeting in person for the first time! (In this life) It felt like a reunion of the School of Michael.

Afterward Anne & I strolled around in ‘Old Sac’ like the unpretentious tourists we were. As the Sun was beginning to twilight, she drove me to my airport hotel for the final leg of the journey.

CG arrived like the hero he is – exclaiming how he had made great time – & how it was all meant to be – because of the important conversation he had with Gloria! They talked for an hour about the Community Alliance with Family Farms (CAFF) & how they worked with her to preserve the farm thru property equity, which Gloria felt could benefit Zinniker Farm. It’s all about building a movement to foster family-style agriculture that cares for the land, sustains local economies, & promotes social justice.

CG standing in his beautiful uprightness, handed me the rings with a hug. With deep gratitude, I sheepishly put them on, & noticed how they glowed with a renewed force, having been the catalyst to the furthering of the precious gem of connection. At 5 am we flew home to the Heartland, radiant with the priceless jewel of love & purpose.
