And so as the Perseid’s peak, Venus comes into conjunction in front of the Leo-Sun, rising with scintillating Sirus, I attempt an ongoing digestion from Seminar 4 of the Association for Anthroposophic Psychology (AAP): Who Am I ? – The Search for Identity & Authenticity. The 3rd Septennial – age 14-21. Here is Part 1.
In our 1st session with Dr. James Dyson he referenced Rudolf Steiner’s “Bridge Lectures,” a lead-in to the meditative instructions for deepening the art of healing given later during the Christmas Conference in 1923; followed by 5 lectures given at Easter, 1924. This was a very special course for medical students & young physicians on the Humanizing of Medicine.
Motivated to understand the astral body I found this quote inspiring:
“…So far as knowledge of the astral body is concerned, you learn far more when you can apply the laws of music. From music you learn an enormous amount about the forming of the human organism, how this process of formation develops out of the astral body. Inasmuch as the human being is organized for movement, for activity, he is built up, in reality, like a musical scale. Here (back of the shoulders) begins the tonic; then it passes over into the second, then into the third in the lower arms, where there are two bones because there are two thirds. This brings you to truths quite different from those which are considered nowadays to pertain to a real knowledge of the human being and quite a different course of teaching would really be necessary for one who is approaching medicine in the true sense…”

SUN in LEO Brings COMPASSION & FREEDOM (Opposite: Hearltessness)

I have made it my intention in working with Mary Magdalene to bring the 12 virtues to bear as I meet the 7 demons, so that I may transform them as Christ’s Companion Mary did.
In contemplating this month’s virtue, I had the thought this morning to connect the heart point from the many 7’s – seen in the #4 position of the 7 (see the many correspondances here ) to clarify & strengthen this healing process.

Those who work with the Original indications in the Calendar of the Soul know that Rudolf Steiner lists the birth & death days, as well as other significant occurrences of various individualities, along with the dates in the calendar.

3114 BC – The Mesoamerican Long Count calendar, used by several pre-Columbian Mesoamerican civilizations, notably the Mayans, begins
305 – Deathday of Saint Philomena, Steiner speaks of her as being a Greek priestess martyred at age 13 by Roman Emperor Diocletian.
559 – Birthday of Radegunde, Thuringian princess & Frankish queen, who founded the Abbey of the Holy Cross at Poitiers, named for holding the relic of the True Cross. Radegunde ate nothing but legumes & green vegetables, she was widely believed to have the gift of healing.

Thus, Saturn is related to the Moon, Jupiter is related to Mercury, Mars is related to Venus, and Sun is related to Earth (although not indicated on the chalkboard). This makes it imperative that Jupiter’s true relationship to Mercury be known.

The New Isis will need the invigorating power of Jupiter and Mercury in these moments when they engage in conjunction. This occurred on March 1, 2023, in the sign of Pisces, when Jupiter and Mercury were less than one degree apart. Now, some five months later, Mercury is about to experience solar conjunction in the sign of Leo. This is important, and could become a paradigm shift in recognition. Jupiter has the relationship with Mercury, which cannot be denied, based on the Spiritual Individuality of the Planets. All we have to do is properly name the planet that stands in conjunction with Jupiter. The blackboard drawing proved that it was Mercury, and not Venus. Maybe this year we could confirm that fact. Please ask James Dyson for permission because I know from personal experience that you would love to see the New Isis emerge from her present constraints in Aquarius. Only properly acknowledging Venus as Mercury will make this possible. Dyson only needs to be made aware of what this means. He drew it on the blackboard, Hazel. Tell him about it. A paradigm shift is in the offing. The proper relationship between Jupiter and Mercury is huge, and leaving Venus to properly commune with Mars in its way. Hoping for this day to occur on August 13th, which is the day after tomorrow. Of course, tomorrow is another day, and like most days, nothing changes. Except for this day. This day represents a “new gravitas”, and I am even hearing it. Weird how silent it can be, like the 10-10 engagement.
In the New Isis Myth we see that Mercury plays a part in removing her old crown. (Is Mercury acting as the Thief in alliance with Set? Or as Divine communicator?)
The subtle yet powerfully sublime contemplation of the Synastry Between Mercury (Occult Venus) & Juipter brings an enlightenment.
Mercury, the swift-footed messenger of the gods, ruling over communication, intellect, & reasoning – Known for its agile nature, this planet endows & sharpens the mind, bringing adaptability, & a keen sense of curiosity.
Jupiter, the king of the gods – the largest planet in our solar system, governs knowledge, wisdom, & abundance – Its expansive & benevolent energy bestows a sense of optimism, generosity, & a desire for personal growth.
When Mercury (Occult Venus) & Jupiter come together in synastry, perhaps we can see the result as a powerful intellectual & philosophical bond between the 2.
This conjunction fosters a mutual respect for ideas, beliefs, & perspectives, creating a stimulating environment for learning & growth.
The combined energies of these two planets encourage open-mindedness, allowing us to explore new realms of thought & understanding together.
In addition to the intellectual connection, the Mercury (occult Venus)-Jupiter conjunction also promotes a sense of harmony & warmth in the relationship.
The expressive nature of Mercury (occult Venus), combined with Jupiter’s benevolence, creates an atmosphere of open communication & genuine appreciation for one another’s viewpoints.
This mutual understanding can lead to a feeling of spiritual kinship, allowing us to delve deeper into the beliefs & values of the other, thru shared insights.
And that is just what you are doing Steve, by pointing-up the influences of this conjunction seen in their true form.

With occult Mercury ie. Venus in Retrograde
In reality, it is Mercury that conjuncts with the Sun and appears to go retrograde. Please lose the Venus distinction because it will lead nowhere. Isis remains hidden until we lift her veil for the good of the Consciousness Soul age. This seems like an opportune moment in August, if it is realized. Your AAP experience makes it possible to say something about this. It was totally unexpected, which makes it all the more important. The drawing on the blackboard gave the incentive, which i am sure that James Dyson would appreciate as much as I would like the feedback. As such, Mercury comes after Venus. The lecture explains a lot, which is noteworthy.
We have to make the connection otherwise folks get even more confused thinking we are misspeaking.
Perhaps we need to re-qoute Steiner’s indications on the switch?

This was a very important contribution to making clear the Venus-Mercury interchange. Time has made this unnecessary today because Anthroposophy exists in the world.
Maybe this extract will prove useful in seeing why this switch had to take place for a time:
“The famous unveiling of the open secret of the Copernican reversal of Mercury & Venus occurred in the 3rd lecture of ‘The Apocalypse of St. John’, by Rudolf Steiner, on 20 June 1908:“Here I come to a point where a little secret, so to say, must be unveiled, one which may only be divulged at this point. In truth if we wish to speak esoterically, as the writer of the apocalypse has done, we must speak of Mercury as the morning star. By the morning star John meant Mercury: I have given the direction towards thine `I’, to the morning star, to Mercury. – You may still find in certain books of the Middle ages, which describe the true state of affairs, that the stars of our planetary system are enumerated thus: Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, and then Earth is followed not as it is now by Venus, Mercury, but by the reverse, Mercury, Venus.” This reversal mentioned again on 5 September, 1908, in Egyptian Myths and Mysteries, Experiences of Initiation, Mysteries of the Planets, LECTURE 4 – The Experiences of Initiation. The Mysteries of the Planets. The Descent of the Primeval Word: “Here I would like to add one thing, because misunderstandings have crept into the naming of the planets. In all occult nomenclature, what astronomers call Venus is called Mercury, and vice versa. Astronomers know nothing of the mysteries behind this, because in the past it was not desired that the esoteric names should be revealed. This happened in order to conceal certain things.”
It seems imperative that this should be communicated right away to people like James Dyson and Jonathan Hilton. Is that possible, because if Mercury is the Morning Star that guides the Good Ship Anthroposophy, then this interchange no longer applies. The Ptolemaic Model is to arise again with the Astrosophy that Steiner foresaw with these references. Copernicanism is being overthrown, although materialistic astronomy resists this.
